Nice to see the use of the alu forks which I think were the catalogue spec at the time.
I suppose the question does one polish the frame up and match the alu forks, or to let the frame "weather" to a dull grey and colour match the forks.
As you can see I went for the latter.
To the naked eye the forks and frame match quite well, but the photographs make them look much darker.

Cheers brocklanders.
Do you still have this?

No, I sold it on a long while ago to a member on here. It was just a bit too big for me. People on here recommended getting a shorter stem but as it was fully retro I didn't want it to look anything other then it did bitd. Thought I'd find a 19" but am still waiting.

Agree that the forks look good but I didn't like them tbh. I thought they made the front end very harsh which was at odds with the lovely Ti spring at the rear. If I get another some Pace RC35's will be going on it.

Just a quick update on my T2 build.
A mixture of xtr m900 and xt 735/737.
just waiting for a nice USE handlebar/bar ends off Ishaw to be delivered. Then i will fix up the cables.

sorry just 1 photo, as it was just about to chuck it down
