Senior Retro Guru
My first ever build thread and what a way to start
Sure I got a few rides in the shed but nothing that fancy, mere plodder fodder to the likes of many a name on here.. however this .......... this is the schizzbiz, one which has released a whole new world of filth plugging klunker fun into my everyday otherwise humdrum life.
My deepest thanx go to John, the guvnor, for creating this little passionate playground of tech and talk and mud and handbags..... without retrobike only in some deeply obtruse crazy drug induced psychtopropic astral birthday party dream would I get to ride this beast let alone actually take it home.
Did I tell you I was excited...

First a little bit of history....

Re:

Subscribed for an interesting bike. Looking forward to seeing the build.

I don't see a wheelset. Any thoughts on what you will use?

Re:

I hope it'll be ready for the annual Cleland ride at Wendover! Great to see another one being restored, well, hopefully not too restored!

Cheers,
Andrew

The good news is there aren't any vital bits missing, I think, it's all here and all I have to do is spruce it up a little.
This is so so my kind of restoration, here's the mechs fresh outta the box.
30 years of caked on filth, prizes if anybody can guess the make and model??

Re:

I'm glad you're so chuffed with your latest project!
Any chance we'll see you at Wendover this December?
