Picked this up several years ago at a yard sale for a couple bucks. Swapped out the stem, bars and saddle. Other than that it's pretty much as I found it, other than a good cleaning.

Thanks! Saturdays during the summer are always a toss-up...whether to go fishing, biking, or hit the yard sales... :p
 
That's a real beauty. This is the second white frame with black decals I've seen recently and I'm digging the simplicity of the color combination.

White + Black = Classy :D

It was originally built as a team bike for a Zinn/Alfalfa/Shimano team rider in a fuschia color...was apparently repainted after race duty and sold...

You can still see traces of the original color here and on the chainstay...

I had to come back for another look at this. Such a great looking bike and nice to know a bit of it's history too :cool:
