Ive been looking for another bike to commute on/ go see the gf etc. i bought this today, it was described as a Trek 8000?

Yep looks like a 97 trek 8000 SHX, my mate got one as an insurance replacement for his 96 zaskar when it was stolen, wouldve had a mix of lx/xt and indy sl's iirc, had yellow decals!

It hasn't arrived yet :D I'm Just gonna make it ridable and commute on it for a while, then probably sell once its outlived its use to me

Update March 1st 8)

bike came yesterday morning, ive given it a quick polish and fitted the cranks from my zaskar for now. some of the parts are in fantastic condition

welds on this thing are beautiful, smooth like my old GT Xizang :D

1996 i presume, from what i can tell this bike was originally red
