1992 Rocky Mountain Blizzard

I just picked up this project. A friend had a 92 blizzard back then and I always wanted one. I think I'll strip it, paint it and re-sticker it. I'll also keep my eye out for a 27.0 syncros post, possibly a shorter stem too.

28.6mm post? :? fairly certain it's a 27.0mm that you should be after.

Ditto... 100% sure it's a 27.0

Edit... it Could be 27.2 if someone reamed it out... what size is the one in the frame?

I had vernier-reading issues, it is 27.0. It did seem a bit loose and a 27.2 started to go in but I didn't force it. I'll watch for a 27.0.

my 93 blizzard is a 27 mm if that helps

Ha, good to see a new one here! Great choice, I love my '92, it's the one I ride most. Good to see you have the original Tange Struts fork, they are very stiff, steer well and are not easy to find. Oh, and it's definitely a 27.0.

Hi tedhodson,

Sweet Blizzard!! I have a spare Syncros 27.0 seatpost if you are interested??? The previous owner had painted it, not a good idea, so I stripped it down and was planning to get it re-anodized black. I don't need it now and thought you might be interested, pics are below.
