Well I found my Specialized (http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24317) under my house, but this is what I found under my girlfriends house!!!

Image
Baggage!

Image
Nyaw! So cute!

Image
She's pretty!

Image
Got gears?

Image
How the hell do I service that?!

Image
Largest chainring I've ever seen.

Image
She'll even brake in the wet.

Image
The real deal, made in England.

Image
Wonder if the store is still there?

Image
My girl loves it, she's had it under the house all her life, but she's never ever laid eyes on it before. Hillarious.

Will have a lot of fun restoring it. Bit of TLC should go a long way!

Thats just brilliant- quick, get it in Bike of the Month, entries close tonight!
I think my Uncle had an identical one in the back of his car, if the London traffic got too bad he would park in Streatham and ride the rest of the way. Now why do I never find owt like that?

My aunt rides a Bickerton in hilly Bristol. You can spot a Bickerton from a long way off because the rider's arms move in different directions as the bar flexes!

The original Evans shop in The Cut, Waterloo is still there - in fact they've become a chain.

Have you got the big shopping bag to sling between those hooks on the handlebar?

Indeed.
Nice collection of skateboard decks, too.
I recently got a mint Joe Lopes "BBQ" with the graphic by Neil Blender.

Good luck on the Bickerton!
I had a Brompton for a while... never again.

Wow...thats a blast from the past 8)

My dad did some design work for Bickerton years ago. As part payment for his work, I got my first mountain bike.....A Bickerton 'Mean Green'!!
...bright green and white graphics with a 200GS groupo. Had a wishbone seatstays too as I remember. '89ish :D

Nice decks too!!... I've got a set of the ' furniture series ' from girl... been collecting dust for some time now.
