But i'm still short of loads of stuff for it,

At the moment im thinking:

RC50 hub, Chris King or Middleburn rear (must be shiny silver)
RC45 Stem,
Race Face Turbine Cranks,

I can't decide between M900 and M950 for the group though. M900 is probably more contemporary but the sharp edges and graphite colours of m950 should complement the build well. Polished m950 would be the nuts but it would take a long time to accumulate a set of it.

Yup, HED rims. I was going to put them on my F7 but I think that will be dismantled to build this.

Would m950 everything be boring? Hubs, cranks, mechs, skewers - the lot. The simplicity of only using parts from one manufacturer appeals to me for some reason.

HED rims v nice, I think m950 everything is right as rain I'd be more than happy if it was mine built up like that, the only thing I don't like is the cranks don't really no why? What size is the frame?

Nice!......keep the group set simple and let the frame, wheels and fork do the talking, they are the really important bits...... :D

Its an 18in.

I'm with you on the m950 cranks and I don't know why either, but..........

The thing with this build is that it would be very easy to make it look garish. Full XTR won't make it look fussy.
