*** Travis Brown's Bradbury FS Manitou ***

*** If you have any photos of Travis riding this bike we would greatly appreciate seeing them. Please post in this thread. ***

This was the second bike he was given for his first factory ride with Manitou after his 10th place finish at the 1990 Worlds in Durango.

Travis's first Manitou was stolen out of a friend's garage here in Boulder about 15 years ago and hasn't surfaced yet (that I know of).

We will let the photos do the talking.

Wow what a great bike to have in your collection..

That patina takes things to a new level especially the saddle,
Since its so well used, I've got to ask...is the frame cracked

Yes the headtube has a crack in it....

thats a shame, I was rather naively hoping it had stood the test of time proving that they're not all made of glass

I'm almost to scared to rid mine  and yet I despise owners of garage queens

Showing my ignorance I've just googled Travis Brown

Re: *** Travis Brown's Bradbury FS Manitiou ***

This was // is a genuine race bike complete w/ Norba / World Cup id stickers on it. It's seen some hard miles but that's why we like it!

@al-onestare: What bolts are you seeing missing?

Re: *** Travis Brown's Bradbury FS Manitiou ***

As far as I can see there is no bolt missing there. That photo looks weird forsure but all is there as far as I can see. It is a bushing that is pressed and goes all the way through. The rear suspension works without bushing slop etc.

Anyone have a photo of that "bolt". I think it is just a pressed bushing but I am not a Bradbury expert and don't claim to be.

Re: *** Travis Brown's Bradbury FS Manitiou ***

What you see there is the drive side stay through the bushing hole. I'll post another close up.
