Wile-e-Coyote..?

My first bike build in 17 years, since I built up the fleet. Had to try and give it just one more go. About enough unused kit hanging about under the stairs to kit me up a road racer. (Last pic shows kit quickly hung on frame for photo)

Unknown frame. Ebay seller has added decals I think. Says Coyote on it but no idea of model. Any suggestions would be welcomed ta. Its now with DD cycles in Leicester though, where they have split the headtube bad, putting in the headset for me. Welder next door has sealed up the splits. Awaiting to get frame and forks back for build up proper. Doubt I'll ever feel safe to ride it now tho...

it does look vaguely like a Rocky Mountain Stratos with that seat / top tube arrangement.

If the headtube is split, please tell me you arent riding it until its repaired?!

No help on i.d. ing the model I am afraid.

Has to be one of the most individual builds on here! Not sure my eyes can take it!

Rocky Mountain... ? That would be good as I always regretted not getting one, or a Fat Chance. I do wonder now then if its even a Coyote..? Only the seller's added decals say so. The only Easton framed Coyote I know is the Ultralight, with fatter frame and squared rear tubing.

Yes it does look a bit whackey. Gutted its broke.
No I'm not riding it. The kit I just put loosely on to visualise it, and make sure I had got reach distances about right. I now find my cabling, which will shoot out forwards in a long arc then back, is going to be a problem as its 6mm.

Anyway, I took frame to an unknown business, and when I got back to them to collect, horror! The guy blamed the seller for selling a frame with 2 splits. I have my doubts. Frame now supposed to have been sent to motorbike specialist welder. But I have my doubts....

but you appear to have bought yet another frame that's way too small for you, as evidenced by the 500ft of seatpost

is it any wonder you have to come up with these crazy bar solutions to make them fit?

Flog some of the bling and talk to a framebuilder. You clearly have needs that make a custom frame the only option. You'll thank me in the long run.

CCE. The frame size bought, suits my ride, my height... and there are reason why I have to have low top tubes.
As it says above, I quickly put bits on it to see what it looked like, before cycling off to the cycle fitters/frame wrecker. The ti seatpost came very long 18 years ago. It was just wedged in one centimetre for 20 seconds for the photo. It was a bit tight so left it right up.

I asked for help with frame identity, not more unhelpful poison thanks

which should have been obvious to most people on here, by way of absent rear brake, chain, cables, and probably most obviously, HEADSET!

Honestly, some people just see a newby getting flamed for whatever reason, justified or not (not in this case), and jump on the bandwagon....

I am seeing less and less reason for coming back here lately..... dissapointing!
