1995 Specialized FSR S-works

I bought this frame from the retrobike classifieds and thought I'd share my build now that it's fairly complete. I need to locate a front shifter and maybe find an FSX fork down the road, but I'm happy with how it turned out so far. It should make a great rider.

The Judy's were killing me with the weekly cartridge rebuilds. Not entirely period, but man, the Superfly looks great on this bike. Hopefully, less maintenance so I can ride more and wrench less.

Love it, I also have Superfly Bombers on my 95 FSR and they are very nice. Thanks again for that ALPS 4 as well, it really made the bike ride like I always wanted it to.

Ive put about 250 miles on my Bombers and they so no signs of needing any kind of maintenace yet. Rock Shox are kinda junky, the Judy just isnt made to last I have determined. I am in love with any of the old marzocchi bomber forks...pretty bulletproof.

That is a really lovely bike, something I'd love to have in my possession one day

Superb looking bike
In 20 years of owning mountain bikes that is the one i miss the most and regret selling in a huge way .
mine was running M950 xtr with very light hope wheels and the early blue SIDs up front ( the bit that let it down tbh but they were light :facepalm: ) That bike was a great all day xc rider and could climb stuff i could not manage on any other bike i owned .

I luckily didn't sell my other spare as it's on this bike now. I blew the shock the day after these pics. I'm quickly learning there's a reason I don't see old full suspension bikes on the trails.
