hi all,
some of you may remember my apex from a couple of years ago, i have owned it for about 4 years and
ran it through the winter months along with my old cannondale badboy.
when i brought a spesh tricross i stripped it and sold most of the parts but now i feel a comeback  .
i just cant decide 700c road wheels or 26inch mtb wheels....

How are you going to run cantis on 700c?

I have one of these in the garage and always thought they would make a good tourer!

well i have fitted the 700c wheels with no issue however the brakes will be a challenge, am sure there is an adaptor out there made by mavic or somebody to solve the problem.

Having just cleaned up an old Peak, and geared it for winter (guards etc), I can confirm it weighs just over a tonne. Still rides well, but at the same time it makes the riding hardwork :(

I also thought about 700c wheels as I have some spare, they certainly fit and its current original wheels are pretty well worn... the issue of cantis reaching the wheel is a problem?
