I have a complete and unmolested Saracen Hy-Pro which I have inherited from my sister. The frame is a little scratched with minor signs of rust on a dropout and chainstay bridge, decals are peeling slightly, but everything is complete, right down to the Saracen pedals and original saddle.
From http://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2/d/1 ... n_1996.pdf I deduce that it is 1996 Tange Trail cromoly with a full LX groupset and original 8 speed gripshift. A £600 bike no less. I've just removed the Squire lock as the key as gone AWOL and the bolts were rusted.
I was planning to give it to a friend for university, but wondered if it is too good for that. Should I keep it, pass it on or sell it? I'd welcome any comments. I might even be able to post a picture tomorrow.
