Does anyone know where I could get an axle for an old LX Spd? Also how would I get the old one out if it were stuck? The plastic at the end, which is grooved to take a tool has sheared off. I thought I may have to use a corrosive substance like caustic soda, but it might harm the aluminium pedal body, so I'm reluctant.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
