Klein Attitude MC1 20" Campagnolo parts

My first Klein, bought it 2 years ago as a "Dolomiti" but in a vey bad state...repainted with wrong colours and the paint fell off by touching the bike...

Now 2 years later, painted it myself in black, and it changed a couple of times. Used it as a road racer, parts changed from XTR M900 to some modern stuff, but now i put on some Campagnolo stuff.

I put on the Olympus parts, because they are plain black as well, which suits better with the bike. Only the brakelevers are not Campagnolo, i only have a pair of Centaurs or Euclids which are dark grey metallic, and i think they are really bulky.... Maybe if i find a set i will put them on, but happy now with the Dia Compe's...

I will show some older images from the bike in "Dolomiti" later..

Olympus is a nice match for sure, though not in my list of favourite Campy groupsets. Overall it's a nice clean bike for sure!

I bought this Attitude in may 2011, had a big smile driving home with the bike in the back of my car, finally after almost 20 years i had one of my dreambikes! I was not in a very nice state, but had some really nice parts on it.



I found a "donor-bike" fully equipped with XTR M900 and transferred al the parts to the Attitude, that first ride on the bike was so scary...with every "plink" or "plonk" i thought: oh don't break....



I already had the idea to go for a repaint, but first i wanted to try something else. I had the idea for a stealth bike in matt-grey with al black parts, something like this



But went for a more "secure" black.., this is just out of the DIY paintbooth..



I built it up with XTR M900 again, and i kept it like that for a short while.





After i while i used this bike as my racer, fitted with SuperMoto's and some modern Sram parts....

I suddenly bumped into a new project, i found a MC2 Attitude which i wanted to use as my racer, so this one could have another change again....

Because i already had a bike fitted with XTR M900, and a few with Suntour XC Pro, i thought it would be nice to try to put some Campagnolo on this one.



Except the brake levers are not Campagnolo, but i like it . It only became a heavy bike...just above 11 kg.....

At the moment it's like this, but i fear another change coming soon :facepalm:

for the looks or for the feeling.....i get comments about it every time, but to ride it i prefer it like this.....

for both…
Perhaps you feel better for your b… but adjusted like this, all the weight of your body is sliding to your knees, and you will destroy them…
Other solution : an higher stem position or adjust your seatpost down…
