hi all
Acquired a new bike a iboc mongoose all original spec. took my alpinestar out for its first spin i had forgot how agile rigid bike are after using a full susser for the last 2 yrs.

Couple of good solid retro rides there. What vintage are they? I'm guessing around '90.
Like the alpinestars especially, even if it's not got e-stays

i think the alpine is a 1990 not over sure though and the mongoose is a 1991.i bought the mongoose for the groupset 500 lx to use on the AS which is only 300lx but when i picked the bike up it is in very good condition it would be a shame to swap the parts over.
