I was waiting for ages for a Merlin XLM, to replace the two Merlin Mountain i've stupidly sold  It had to be for a 1" 1/8th fork, with the rear canti hanger, and at my size (i found some but in 17/18", i was after a 19")
Yet, it's done :P

you see, i don't like red for some reason (unless it's a Team Pace : )

whereas purple has really grown on me, my McMahon is covered in the stuff.
It really suits Ti i think

Purple or red looks cool. There are sooooo many Merlins with black components (including mine), it's nice to see something different. Back in the day, a lot of people added a little color to their rides.
