Received an email today form Serotta (Steve)

Quote:
Hi Bas,
We can't do anything until we see it, but it seems a good candidate for warranty.
Thanks,
Steve

Shipped the frame today back to the factory

shipment costs 248 euro,.. and because they can not decide if it is a warranty case before they see the frame with their own eyes,...these are my costs,...

i keep my fingers crossed,...

i wish that would be true,..but no,..that's not what they told me,...
They only pay for the shipment back,...

Serotta stoped building steel MTB frames a few years ago,..and if they can not fix it they will build me a custom steel frame again....
Hmmmm,...what do i hope it will be

Maybe a steel Serotta with the T-max specs and disc mounts and no canti's,..and a 1 1/8 fork size so i can put in the Pace carbon rc31's,....
