The 5.4 was an ebay bargain a couple of years ago, £39 iirc wanted for nothing and rides really well.

I found another one, a 505, locally on ebay today .........................I suppose that makes me a collector.

It was advertised as a 20 inch frame but actually measures 16 centre to centre and now my missus has her eye on it.

Yes they have both aged really well, not sure of the years must be early 90s.If anyone knows I'd like to hear more?

The 505 hadn't been ridden since 2001!

Info on Univegas is a bit sparse considering they were about in the early days of mtbing.

I've also got a Alpina 5.3 frame waiting for a build, the 505 was to be the donor bike but I think I'll keep it as it is for now.

Both lovely looking bikes mate, I'm a huge fan of them myself.

My Alpina 5.5 is a 1994 so your 5.4 will be the same year.
