Not sure if this is an 88 but thats my guess.

This was on Gumtree, was £20 or £30 without wheels, seat post

It was mostly original, but I've upgraded it with some nicer kit

Its an easy rider thats for sure

Anyone know the difference between a Palisades and a Palisades Trail?

Anyways enjoy the pics

Nick

Nothing mate - They just changed the name for the 92 range i think.

Good score for 30 bucks.

I'd go for an 89 based on the decals....nice find! And a bargain too!

Thats an 88.....89 had cantis F&R not a U brake :D

http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... p;t=233325

The same 'name' decal design were used on the very late 88s and the 89s

Does it have a 'Joe Murray Norba Champion' sticker ?

Very nice bike in what looks like great condition. Bargain!

The smallest frame size 1989 Palisades did have a U brake, then every size larger rear canti brakes.
I agree that this bike is probably more 1988 than 1989.
