So another Marin joins the Wookiee pack! This beauty came from Craig (chiswickcollectables). Knowing my love for the zolatone Marins he gave me first refusal on this bad boy! Its in a beautiful condition and is the lighter finish. There are very few marks to the frame and even less to the forks, stem and bars! The colour has faded a little to more orangy rather than reddy but is still eye wateringly bright. It comes with the original kit apart from the seatpost, saddle, chainrings and tyres although the tyres are period correct Marin combo tyres which suit it nicely. The Wolber rims are nearly new with bearly any wear to the braking surfaces and spin beautifully smooth. Comes with LX STI's, front and rear mechs and crankset with DX cantis.

Now despite the STI's working flawlessly I just dont like the look of them so I think I will change them for the DX ones off the Bear Valley. All in all it needs no immediate work just "taste" things. I don't think that I will be able to keep this and the Bear Valley as they are very similar so may end up parting ways with the Bear..we'll see!

A few pics of the beauty follow!

To my knowledge they came with LX in 1990 but by 1991 it had DX...I know the 1990 Pine Mountain had DX...

I could easily be wrong though as 1990 catalogues are hard to find!
