I recently stumbled accross this Kirk, unused, unbuilt still in its original packing!! Result!!

After a little fiddling it looks like this,

I hope this is retro enough for you guys (even though its a road bike)!!

I plan to keep it totally original, it will not get much use as I also have this one!!

Regards to all.

Hello, these were real cool rides in the early 90's a little quirky but cool. I was out on a road ride quite recently when i noticed a bike hidden in the undergrowth of an hedge. I stopped pulled it free to discover it was a KIRK PRECISION mountain bike! Some saddo had dumped it while back judging by the condition! Magnesium corrodes in the U.K. elements. Does yours have the wicked old campag stuff on it too? :D

Hi Slimjoe, yes the blue one came with a full Campag Athena groupset and semi-aero campag rims, although it looks resonably modern as this was one of the last bikes built.
I'm hoping to take it out for its first ever proper ride this week if the weather holds. Did you pick up the frame you found in the ditch? it should clean up okay.
