Hi there,

Well I fortunately live close enough to take advantage of one of these when they came up for sale individually. I pickd one up for a friend of mine but the conditions is “as new” and now really want one for myself!

Too far away for me to get one (if there are any left- I saw the group sale when it first came up on this site)... shipping to Australia would be too much to contemplate.

Funny thing is that just after I saw the thread I spotted one of these (the same colour even) locked up just out side where I work!
 
Nice and original - were these the ex hire ones?
Those push-push first gen stis bring back happy memories :LOL:

How fast did Shimano expect you to be going to need to grab a handfull of brake! I remember an old Raleigh Amazon I had with 100LX had 4 finger levers ;)
