Thanks- the original stem is long gone but the one that is on there is identical. The stem that came with the frame/fork when I bought it was off a specialized from around '84.

I was just reading in CK's book and came across this bike and your picture.
What a great bike this is, so very modern compared to the others around in that age.
It deserves to get back on top in this forum.
