Missed this thread first time around, that look's stunning 8) , as someone mentioned just the right amount of red anodising/colour, the IRC amberwalls set it right off

Shouldnt this one have a super-setback (custom) seatpost?

Thanks for the comments guys :D

mtbmaniac - you are spot on, it should have a zoom long layback post but it was not there when I bought it, does anyone have any idea where I can get one?

I'm also after a picture of the original decals from the '94 Diamond back catalogue or wherever if anyone can help?
It was an A5 portrait size catalogue if i remember correctly.

There are lots of '93 decal pictures and I have the 93 catalogue at home but the two years are quite different.

Cheers!

*edit* just found a picture of a 'reasonably stock' '94 with a scary bloke leaning on it!

Update!

Ok, because I can't leave things alone...I've got hold of some old hydraulic formula disc brakes and wheelset from about '97, I wanted to put discs on about 10 years ago but could never afford it as an impoverished student.

I will have to make some custom caliper mounts for the rear swingarm and the oddly shaped DH3 forks but it will be worth it.

Have a few pictures in the meantime:
