Schwinn Buell Waterford

1992 Schwinn SASS (Schwinn Active Suspension System) Sold by Schwinn, Designed by Buell and Built at the Waterford Paramount facilty. I bought this as a frame set 3-6-95. It came with frame, rear shock and extra spring HD and a Rock Shox early Magnesium fork. The true number of these bike produced is unclear. In the early 2000"s i went to the Mammoth Mountain Nationals, had a madman yelling at me to stop. He ran up to me and introduced himself to me as Edwin Schwinn. We talked about the bike. I asked how many were built he said about 233, but not totally sure. If anyone has any info on this bike i would love to here it. Thanks John ]

that design is definitely very special, never seen that layout before. I would imagine that the number built is going to be quite low as almost seems like a concept.
