I'd like to introduce you all to my first completed retro build, my 1997 Kona Hot. This is my first readers bikes post so please be gentle! :D

Frame: 1997 Kona Hot, Reynolds 853 tubings, Stars & Bars paint job.
Fork: Marzocchi Bomber Z2 BAM
Headset: Not so retro Chris King Nothreadset
Stem: Syncros
Handlebar: Bontrager/WTB Ti
Grips: Oury lock-ons
Brakes: M950 XTR V-brakes
Brake Levers: M950 XTR
Shifters: M950 XTR 8spd Rapidfires
Front Derailleur: M950 XTR
Rear Derailleur: M952 XTR with KCNC jockey wheels
Cassette: M950 XTR
Chain: SPRAM PC850
Cranks: M951 XTR with Ti chainring and crank bolts
Chainrings: M952 XTR
Bottom Bracket: M950 XTR
Pedals: DMR V8's
Quick Releases: Rear M900 XTR (need and M950 rear), front M950 XTR
Rims: Front Mavic 517, rear Mavic 217
Hubs: M950 XTR
Tyres: Kona Scratch & Sniff
Saddle: Selle Italia Flite
Seatpost: Syncros.

She's all set up and ready to be ridden as intended!

For a first build thats a really nice mix of bits and you've obeyed the golden rule !!

Plus it will make a superb rider too with that m950 XTR and sensible forks ;)

Kneedowndean it's a 120mm stem I believe!

And yes the kitchen is rather bare at the moment but that will hopefully be changing tomorrow as the units start going in!
