After being inspired by finishing the 1990 Explosif and also wanting to see what the two would be like to ride back to back,i've finished the Explosif bar a nos HG chain. This was just a quick photo i'm going to start a new build thread of all my splatter paint Konas as they're being rebuilt which should be fun.

Just found the same example today from a local bike mechanic
Love the colour and fillet brazed stem
What bar would have come with it?

This is the cross over year before Kona officially launched- they were initially going to be Cascade Bikes ithink
Hence the TBG decal on headset tube, I believe these are one of the more collected examples

It's the Royal Quays Marina down on the Tyne mate.

Ah, no worries. Some friends of ours in Widdrington Station took us to Amble when we stayed with them, thought it looked a bit similar.
