Hi All

My latest addition. A 1994 Proflex 454.

Catalogue here:http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/files/Proflex94.pdf

This has been built from my parts bin as a rough and ready runabout. I may change a few things but it's pretty much as I wanted it. It's not catalogue specification but that was not the intention.

The Proflex 454 was ridden today for the first time since i finished the build. The bike is great ! I'm quite suprised at how well it rides and I can't help loving the looks, I think it's the 'Swoosh' of the swingarm that does it hehe

Link to ride here: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1787896#1787896

Nice 8) , have a soft spot for these, my first proper MTB was a Proflex 752 (bought new in 92), same design as that just two years earlier.

I had the 852 and riding with Trebz on Sunday made me really want it back.

Really nice bike this with Trebz usual attention to detail.

Maybe but after nearly 20 years they will be like Digestive biscuits

If you can find some original yellow plastic washers (even those went brittle after a couple of years though) you should be able to get the black elastomers made or adapt some existing ones (suspension bushes for a car maybe ?)

I like that, nice paint on it, and I like the quirky little rocker for the rear brake :)
