Don't get me wrong, the other stuff is good, but this is the top of the pile.

I need to get some better pictures, update my websites and post some more in reader's rides.

Here are a couple of my personal bike sites:

www.tastydirty.com -> gallery of stuff, partially populated

www.topshelfbikes.com -> list with some commentary, work in progress but more complete

The WTB Phoenix is my favourite from your incredible collection.

Thanks! It is one of my main riders. It is something of a restoration project too. Steve Potts recently built the fork and Charlie Cunningham built the seatpost. I am working with Charlie to make togglecam hardware for the front brake, which is currently a rollercam. A friend of mine with connections in Taiwan did a limited run of WTB-style cable stops for the front.

The bike is amazing to ride.

Now that's a nice homage to a Cunningham!

Missed this first time around. Forgotten how amazingly ahead of their time these bikes were - alu, oversize seatposts, super-sloped top tubes, straight forks. Very cool.
