the forks came with the frame when i bought it, i planned on getting some marz at the time, but after a while the rc36's grew on me. if i could get a decent pair of marz for the price of the pace rebuid (£110) then i would considder a fork change. although the pace forks are probably a fair bit lighter :?

the tyres, i fitted   im impartial to whether i like them on the santa cruz or not but i do like the smooth ride

I'm in the middle of rebuilding some slime green Z2s, though they may be a bit short.

took the santa cruz on a bike ride yesterday with the bristol bike project. the gears work terribly, the tyres have little grip both on and off road etc, so ive started dismantling the bike today. will get some pics once work has started
