I managed to get a nice cheap 17" Hahanna on fleabay, it was built up, but had an MC10 no stickered rear mech, Vuelta Airline wheels, and an XT BB (UN7*).

I fitted an STX rear mech, and chainset, and my M730 hubbed Mavic 230 rims. Old LX cantis, from Onza100, thanks mate. Also added a ladies specific Giant seat, that she tried in the LBS.

It has Gripshift, SRT100i, which is a let down, and Kona brake levers. Will possibly upgrade to STX levers/shifters.

It will also need a new headset in the near future, as well as tyres and pedals, but I'll wait until I know it'll get used first.

True. She asked for it, but then she doesn't like cycling with me, because I go too quick

She's also circumspect about going off road. Still, it's better than her BSO I'm going to try and flog on Gumtree

Made quite a few changes already, and she's been out on her first ride. She prefers offroad to road, which is always a good start, but I feel she may be more of a trail centre sort of person. I received the brakes as Karma, and swapped some STX RC shifters for the STX levers/shifters, and got the wheels from another bike I purchased. That was also the source of the Flite and Smoke on my Axis R. The tyres came from my Axis R. The rear mech came from yet another bike I bought, which I swapped for the Alivio one I had on a bike I was given, and have karma'd the frameset on. The STX chainset was on my WCF before I put an M737 on it.

Like it. I've always been a fan of how Kona kept the Hahanna looking like it really belonged in the range. Other manufacturers' lower end bikes really looked lower end IMO.
