1987 Steve Potts drop bar WTB equipped

This is a fairly recent acquisition and it needed a super deep cleaning. This one had been used hard and put away dirty. Equipped with most the WTB parts that were available during this era including: Type II fork, Roller Cam brakes, LD stem, Grease Guard hubs and bb, drop bar, cable hanger.......

That is nothing short of stunning. I love that it's dripping with period WTB components and it's Drop-Bar'd.... For me, this is the most beautiful bike I think I have ever seen :shock: :shock:

I bet it rides fantastically too :twisted:

I love the MOMBAT site btw, it's fast becoming my very own RetroBike Bible :LOL:

So impressive! The more i am into MTB history (and i´m in since twentyseven years ;) ), the more i´m overwhelmed by those eighties designs and artifacts.
