Here is my new baby... A Cannondale Delta V 1000!
Actually I've had a Delta V1500 in 1993, that's my favorite mtb with my Yeti and my Manitou HT 1997.
This bike is just awsome :shock:
Everything is original... Even the tires :shock: incredible :shock:
I could say it's the one I was looking for... And now it's mine :cool:

I was wondering, can anyone help me?
Seems it's a 93 model, but what is weird is that the shifters, the crank, the hubs and the derailleurs are Deore DX. In the 93 catalog, all the parts are Suntour...? Is it a specific equipment for the UK market?
One last question: where is the chassis numer on the Delta V1000? I don’t see it under the bottom bracket?

On EST frame ( and perhaps delta V) you got 2 serial number : the front part of the frame and the swingarm.
for the swing arm, you'll find it around the left dropout of the swing arm, and frond, you would find it under the"bridge tube) between the diagonal and seat tube.

For the DX : it was the same quality of the suntour XC comp (XT was XC pro)
Perhaps C'dale wer out of stock and they built it with shimano.
 
I don't know why but when ever I see these the first thing that comes to my mind is drop bars??

I've cleaned it this morning and put original pedals... everything is original now :)
