Dirt Disciple
Hello everyone.

Discovered this great site only a couple of days ago and seeing pictures of bikes I remember lusting after and saving up for as a teenager really brought back memories.

Anyway, just wanted to post the last 2 fully assembled pics of my nearly 18 year old machine.

She now sits back in the shed fully stripped down (apart from the BB, bloody thing won't budge) awaiting listing on eBay of her various old and new(er than 1995) parts.

Thing is, I really don't want to just stick the bits on eBay for 99p and they end up in the hands of someone who won't appreciate the history. (So sad isn't it feeling attachment to old Cromoly steel and titanium)

Not sure if this post technically belongs in the for sale section but I have litterally no idea what any of it is worth.

For example, I have seen 2 Ti stems on eBay, one for 99p and one for £109 ?!

Here is a link to pics of bits i've parted. Some of them I'm using on a newer 2004 Rockhopper build that's almost done.

I really want these bits to go to a good home and want to offer the good folk here a gander.

N.B. Apologies to mods if this really should be in the for sale section but the rules stipulate a price and I don't have one.

Thanks for looking.

Cheers, Andrew.

That's a great frame. Shame about the bottom bracket.

You should really keep it and clean it up...!

If I were a lesser man I would have PM'd you direct.

However, if you are wanting to sell you must itemise these in the for sale section, with a firm price.

There is a section here:

http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29681

Where you can ask for valuations, and some research in the classifieds on here will often reveal a good indication of achieved sale prices.

All being said, if you decide to sell and list, please can I dib the stem...

Cheers,
BB
