1989 Specialized Stumpjumper Comp

Dirt Disciple
Made a lucky purchase last month and I think it's a keeper - Only 2 more Stumpjumpers to go now!

It was in really good condition with a thick layer of protective grime and 90% tread left on the Ground Controls. I'd give the overall condition 9/10, just the transfers peeling a little. A couple of replacement parts, a tune-up and a good clean and here it is - Next time I will remember to take photo's before the overhaul.

The groupset is full Deore XT with original XT pads. Colour is interesting, it's black with what looks like a really deep purple running through it. Looking forward to you comments!

That's superb, I'd love to own any 80's stumpy, but that's one of the nicest I've ever seen!

+1. These 80's Stumpjumpers do it for me every time!. Lovely bike, in stunning condition.

It looks great with the Ground Controls too. The skinwalls really elevate the bike with a touch of light against the dark feel of the bike :D.
