a fine machine. those ball-burnished GT's always come up to a good shine. you also have the only cool 4-arm crankset ever made. i never got on with my zaskar as an XC bike, but still have the itch to own one.

i feel an old-school hardcore/early "jump" bike build coming on :p

Unfortunately it's an Deore LX crank. :(
Still looking for something better.
Now the bike is shiny and clean, but after one ride you can polish it all over again.

i had that exact frame myself! :D loved it, in the catagory of wished i never sold it! :(

when i learn how to fart around with scanners etc i'll post some photos of my jumpy style version! had spins in it, for jumping . . . not the best wheelset for it! they don't like stair jumps you know! how i managed to blagg a warranty still amazes me! :D

That's the same year mine was....but it was blue anodised, and then stolen! :cry:

Sorry that your one was stolen.
When I bought te bike I doubted to buy the blue one or the ballburnished.
I should have bought the 14,5" instead of 16"
I'm still crying for that mistake :cry:
