Not sure about an original colour, but it's been repainted at some point as there's a decal under the clearcoat on the upper seat tube from the painter / shop that did it.

Wonderful bike, you forgot to list the 1" bmx headtube as specially for the older FROs. And a steel stem looks better in my opinion, like the older cook bros ....

You are right bmx4130crmo and I agree re. the stem.

As you will have spotted the bike does have a good few non-period-correct parts - I'll try to swap them out in the future, but for now I'm very happy with her.
