Looking over the bike I would like to upgrade a couple of parts, again I'd appreciate advice.

I'd like to upgrade the following:

Seatpost - 26.4 steel (!) scratched and tatty
Saddle - very tatty
Stem - Steel with tatty white paint
Bars - steel, faded paint
Grips - tatty
Tyres - knackered

It weighs in at approx 13.5kg I'm keen to reduce this a bit.

I intend to use it for some light off roading tyre wise I just want something light and in keeping with the era.

This ended up being my ride of choice over the winter months (the few times I managed to find the time to brave the weather!). Now it's all cleaned and serviced ready to be sold. Few not great pictures:

It cleaned up rather well. I replaced the STI's as the originals were faded and the tyres for Charge Splashbacks which are a great improvement over the originals I think. Oh and stuck a Flite on there too. As it stands I'm putting it up for £175.

It's an 18" frame - I've put a for sale ad on my site: http://www.stallioncycles.co.uk/apps/we ... ow/3808670

Took some better pictures today:

That is cool.
GLWS, I wish I had the space/time/money to have it.
