I have what I think is a vintage Rockhopper, 3*6 speed, yellow 21.5 inch frame with pink decal. Shimano Exage Mountain brakes and front and back derailers, Shimano Biopace chainset, 26*1.5 rims and Shimano hubs.

I can't find the frame number.

Any idea of the year of manufacture please?

Someone will come along with more knowledge than myself but I think it'll be about 1988/89

8)

What are you planning on doing with it? Still ride it?

A good mate of mine gave me it to me when he considered it to be old and out of date and I think that was around 1998 ish so I am a bit puzzled here.

Is it possible it is early 90's?

If you're from Hull originally, did this bike come from Rob Winstanley?
