I saved up my paper round money to buy this in 1997. Many happy years cycling round Edinburgh, Coed Y Brenin and chasing my brothers down Glentress. V-brakes, rigid. I must have been hard, oh, and the odd crash... It was stolen in 2009, but clearly too skanky for the thief as he threw it back over the fence. Phew!

After a couple of years languishing, superceded by more modern road and mountain kit, it has been resurrected as the ultimate pub and commuter bike. Amazing what a Halfords touch-up paint kit and a lot of patience can do. Enjoy!
