My mum brought me my first proper mtb in 1993, 31st of july.
19 years ago a week from today and the only "bike" I've ever had...just about 20 frame,wheel, brake,ect changes!
It went though a couple paint jobs and has spent the last few years being used by my mum.
Sadly mum is dying of cancer and probably won't get to see the 20 year anniversary
But after chatting to her earlier I think i'm gonna restore it to original spec, get the frame painted and then hang it on the wall of the bike shop I work at.
Remembering the spec wont be a problem as I wrote it all down! but finding it might be a bit more of a challenge as the only bits i have left is the frame,fork and front mech
