...The race is known as the Reebok Eliminator and justifiably called the worlds wildest mountain bike race. the top 40 racers in the world- 32 men and eight women are invited to race side by side in a double elimination format for $25,000 in cash.

From the word GO at the top of the 3.7 mile downhill, the racers only objective is to finish and beat his or her opponent. (Jim Mcroy)

There's some serious riding going on there.

Love the picture of them on the start line, what must have been going through Jason's head right then? Love the last picture too, sums up how biking, and racing, can people together.
