Well, finally got round to completing my first project.

It all started here :D

http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=197575&highlight=decisions

Frame went to some highly recommended blasters/powder coaters at Solway Blast just up the road from me.

Got intouch with Ben "Boy O Boy" about some decals for it, but due to a shortage of the mandarin he sent us a few colourways to have a go at in the mean time. cheers matey ;)

My heart was always set on the black and orange, but when the colourways turned up i was instantly thrown

With most of my parts sourced as nos (apart from bens wheels i bought) thanks to those who helped us, you know who you are ;),
the minute i got the bike in the man cave i couldnt wait to start.
Kids off to bed, mrs watching some crap on telly, and a fridge in the garage full of beer, it was happy days :D

Not really much else to say so i will let the pictures tell the rest ;)

Bens before i bought it

Cool as!!!

That is truly stunning.
Well done mate. One of the nicest builds I've seen on here.

That looks superb mate

Bravo mate, excellent job, like your choices.....

Loving that, really nice clean build and kitted out with my all time favorite groupset too.

Proves you dont need to have a kona to go white and look

Thanks guys for all the comments, I'm really pleased with how it turned out.
The gold looks well against the white and black, I'd have never of choose it originally, so I suppose the credit for that one goes to Ben
In my eyes a retro build had to be DX, yeah that's the only thing left to do is the tape for the cables, apart from the rear tyre that exploded in the middle of the night. The wires have popped through

Cheers
