This is my recently finished rescue project from Ebay, A Corex Explorer its taken a few weeks to get road worthy but has made me a cracking get to work bike! All Alivio chainset and the fact its very light make it a pleasure to ride. Dont know too much about them i was informed on the chat forum a few weeks back that they are Korean bikes with quite a big road market but other than that dont know much at all.

Seat stays are really skinny for a GT.

Did GT ring re-enforce the head tubes? that looks like a 1/2" ring on the there.
