Here is one of my bike, bought many years ago (at the beginning of Craigslist), "imported" to France. In the parcel, the frame, some M952 parts (front mech, Octalink BB and crankset), a seatpost collar, and a tatty Chris King headset. I've already removed BB/crankset, as i prefer square taper BB, and the headset (refreshed and installed on another frame).

Then i falled on the dark side of a weightweenie project
First, a fork, with a very long steerer, as the head tube of the Dean is 165mm long  Not easy to find a nice and used fork with an at least 230mm steerer.

After a long search, i've found this NIB Pace RC38, with an uncut 1" steerer  As the head tube is 1" 1/8 wide, i needed to use Problem Solvers headset reducers, with a cheap BBB headset

Cheap but threaded, as i found an "as new" Dean titanium stem

Here the result, i enjoy riding it during 2 years, the fastest bike i've ever had, some comfort with the short 1" rear travel. But as good as they are, the Ultimate are sometimes limited (my 91kg are perhaps the reason why  ), and the Pace fork a little flexy.
