It came supplied with a custom made adjustable anti-chain suck device and i really like the fact this was a standard feature of these frames, when so many didnt and you had no choice but to buy aftermarket bolt ons, this worked superbly.

This particular frame and fork has seen many different incarnations in my time and it really was everything it was reported to be......Hard, fast, light, its been used abused and trashed, its never been broken bent or dented.

This Bike's Journey has been a long one, and i gotta say Big respect KB, you certainly built a legend.

Build spec:

Frame As described above. True Temper ATX 4130 Tig welded with wishbone configuration.
fork As above- Bontrager. (classic black finish)
Stem Salsa-Original paint, Re-finished decal.
Bars Salsa Re-finished in cosmos black. Custom Polished Shim.

Grips Odi Attack (replaced with nos vintage)
Headset Shimano Deore XT
Brake levers Diacompe PP5s Re-polished.
Brakes Currently Scott Penderson Self Energizing Front and Rear. ( long term, the Final Solution)
Chainset Cooks Bros Racing (mix of rings)
Rear mech Shimano Deore XT
Ft mech Shimano Deore XT
Shifters Shimano Deore XT
seatpost Shimano Deore XT

Saddle Turbo (RE-issue)
seat binder Handmade Bontrager aluminuim seatclamp with specialized Q/R lever(black/alloy)

Wheels
Hubs Bullseye Blue and White 36 hole ( awaiting 32 hole for the Bontrager Mavic Rolldowns)
Spokes D.T double butted stainless.
rims Currently Specialized (long term Original Bontrager/mavic Rolldowns)
Block Shimano Durace sprockets.
Cables spec"d Shimano 2mm.
Tyres Panaracer Timbuk IIs Kevlar.
Pedals spec Shimano Deore XT clipless (first generation, Not Shown)
Bottom Bracket Shimano Mix

Race Jacket. ....Re-Finished in Industrial Grey Pearl, with Obsession Blue and White panel Decals.

Actual bike Weight, 25.9 lbs (no Disc drive) size medium

vintage... late 1990/91

Approx retail cost Bitd £2480..Ish

Cheers mate, ive been out on the Bontrager today, and it still makes me smile.

Although it was harder work than i expected, im clearly not as fit as i had thought pushing those gears... :oops:
