Hello all,

Here's my 1992 Trek 8000 for your pleasure. It's a great, great bike: fast, twitchy, light.

Details:

Frame is original, as are forks.
Bars are original, headset original.
BB is some Ti thing.
Cranks are original, as is rear mech (now used as a chain guide)
I rebuilt the rear wheel using the original hub and DT Revos.
I rebuilt the front wheel onto an LX hub, the bearing faces on the original wore out.
I've kept the middle chainring, which is a 42t Middleburn.
The rear gear in use is 15 tooth.
The brakes are just some no-name Vs and the braking on this bike has always been a pain in the neck. Constant fettling and changing. Sometimes only one ride and the whole system needed resetting.

I've had some great rides on it, from loops of the Purbecks in Dorset to slickrock in Moab.

Enjoy the pictures! :)
