i bought this in kit form from a wonderful bloke on here
so it was built up in a retro (for 1988 ) style ,with bull moose bars and the dia-compe brakes and shifters that it came with
some suntour mechs and some 730 hubbed wheels with araya rm 19 rims with some amberwalled semprit atb tyres ,just because they looked right
it has some 730 cantis on the rear and frogs legs dia-comps on the front
with those funky little roller straddle cable carriers
tho i'll fit the appropriate pair to what ever end i decide to go for in a bit
the brooks came with it too as did the red grab-on's that i think are oe fitment and i made a front cable hanger for it and some q/rs
all in i'm pleased with it ,comfy and quite capable

Useful looking bit of kit, Mike.

Is that a dent in the chainstay..

yeah ,they're all like that apparently lots of first owners took them back
as they thought they were dented

500? Meh - nothng.

Mines a 400. Similar component mix though - dia-compe brake levers off an express train, dia-compe (or suntour?) thumbies that could be used to shift gears on a corvette (marine type - not road) etc...

Its a starter for ss conversion since it needs a new wheel set.

Loving the polished alloy look on this puppy...
