I too would like to see one of these again, especially if owned by someone.

I actually remember thinking how "Cool" it looked for the ladies.

A bike specifically Designed for smaller riders By an English Frame Builder (Dave Yates) For Deb Bennett. I think :? the Smart Tart team also had an expert catagory rider called Sally :?

Deb rode downhill, and i did remember thinking the paint and image of the bike were cool.

Does anyone have an image of these bikes, it would be a great addition to this thread.

The LLoyd resto sounds like it could be pricey- maybe buy this instead?

The Yates frame is gorgeous, good idea to keep the paint/ patina.

Considering the reason for the thread,......

I think it fitting to mention our very own Racing LEGEND.

The hero of many of us im sure.....the late departed Jason McRoy.

Seen here in the early days, before the move to Specialized.

Riding for "Shop" Based race team Hardisty Cycles.

If any members remember these days, and/or were around this shop, i would love to know more about the Steel frames that were used for there race bikes....???

Also in one of the pics, is Paul Plunkett, also using a British Steel frame, with his own name on it.

Roly
its been puzzling the Shit out of me.

I really like it.., i wish i knew more, i really do. But then i like the whole thing, its just screams cool, i love the plain black and white too.

And it gives me a feeling of bontrager, in a kinda hardcore no messing around, im here to do a job get outa my way kinda fashion...,

I keep looking at it, the Plunkett frame has the same, but the cable run is different.

i even like the Nike logo on the top decal, A great image i think.

Hopefully some one can tell us more, im intrigued.

And when you think of all the shop based teams back in the day..., there were loads in the early days.
