1990/1991?

Peculiarity: a card(map) IGN(NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC INSTITUTE) of origin in decoration on the frame (I do not speak English, Google translation):

Other peculiarity (to be a copy of Alpinestar): weigh the weight of a dead donkey!
Wheels, 2.4kg!

Thats a nice looking e-stay :D

I don't think decathlon were in the UK back in the early 90's - I guess the closet we had was Halfords Carerra's.

Really nice bike. I don't know any history of Decathalon but the shite they turn out now is just terrible, Argos generic scrap.

This goes to show they were good - once

Bienvenue!

That does look nice - loads of Decathlon bikes in France, and as has already been said, the quality varies from sub-Argos to actually quite good. Some of their road bikes get good write-ups and for people who want a bike that works well enough on a tight budget they seem to fit the bill.

Always good to see something a bit different on here.

Nice that. Not what I was expecting.

Mikee will be here soon loving this and wanting one for his e-stay collection
